THE SEARCH FOR INNOVATIVE IDEAS CONTINUES.

IN NOVEMBER 2020 there will again be a Forum Junge Spitzenforscher!

For the seventh time already, the Stiftung Industrieforschung and Humboldt-Innovation will host the “Forum Junge Spitzenforscher” science competition in November 2020.

6 researchers – 6 pitches – 6 prizes

Prize money of 36,000 € will be awarded.
Every year, the Stiftung Industrieforschung and Humboldt-Innovation look for young researchers (m/w/d) with innovative and practice-relevant ideas and approaches that emerge from their innovative basic research and can be submitted to the “Forum Junge Spitzenforscher” science competition on a specific or specified topic.

The event is organized and awarded in cooperation with Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin, and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.

At the closing event at the Tieranatomische Theater of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, six researchers (m/w/d) will present their research work in approximately 15-minute lectures, including a detailed round of questions by an appropriate jury of experts.

The jury of experts is particularly concerned with the quality of the presentation’s content and the (future) economic or social feasibility of the project.

The researchers (m/w/d) or their research institutions in the first three places will receive prize money of EUR 10,000 for the further implementation of their respective research projects. The remaining three finalists will each receive a prize money of EUR 2,000 in recognition of their previous research work. The prize money will be provided with the kind support of the Stiftung Industrieforschung.
